Peter Crouch has confirmed that his girlfriend Abbey Clancy is pregnant

Sept.20 (GMM) Football star Peter Crouch has confirmed that his girlfriend Abbey Clancy is expecting their first child.

But the Tottenham Hotspur is 'upset' after the news was published in a tabloid newspaper – before she had a chance to tell friends and family.

"Abbey told me on July 25 that she was pregnant but we agreed to keep it private until she was ready to make an announcement," Pete confirmed.

"There were even some members of our families who were still unaware that Abbey is pregnant until today's revelations".

The happy news comes after allegations about the sports star's behaviour during a holiday in July.
